Save Without Sacrifice

Want to save money without giving up what you love? I’ll show you how.

Is it possible to save money without giving up what you love? The way some of the experts talk, it doesn’t seem very likely.

Everyone tells you to save money. Most people also say that the easiest way is to cut your expenses. Now, I don’t know about you, but that sounds like the idea is to make a lot of sacrifices now for the sake of the future.

.

But HOLD UP. What if you live paycheck to paycheck, and there aren’t that many extra expenses to cut in the first place? That makes it a totally different ballgame.

.

It seems like you’re always being told to give up something you love in to save for your future. But is that really necessary?

.

Think of some of the things the financial gurus suggest. You always hear things like “stop buying lattes to save yourself $300 a year.”

Now, I don’t know about you, but I like an occasional latte! So here’s a totally different approach to saving money…

.

Instead of cutting out what you love, look at where you spend your money. Then, cut out what you don’t believe in.

.

What does this mean in the real world? Here are a few examples of the difference between making sacrifices and being discerning about how you spend:

.

  • Buy what makes you happy (and leave the rest). I’d never give up my $4 latte, cause I love it and it makes me happy. But I’d definitely cut back on buying meat and seafood because I feel better on a vegetarian diet AND I’m supporting the earth.
  • Ride your bike to work because you believe in exercise, fresh air, AND saving on gas.
  • Get a smaller place cause you support the idea of a minimalist lifestyle.
  • Recycle because you believe in saving the environment, not just to save 40 cents.

.

When you make your lifestyle change by supporting what you believe in, you’ll not only FEEL like a million bucks, but you’ll also SAVE a lot of bucks.

Then, with the money you save in taking these actions, place that money in a separate account. It’s a WIN WIN. This is what I mean by saving without sacrifice and saving WITH empowerment.

.

I go into some more specific examples of this HERE: ⬇️ ⬇️ ⬇️
