Do You Manage Money Well But Cling To It For Dear Life? How To Stop The Fear And Allow More Money Into Your Life
In the last post I talked about those people who seem to manifest money like magic, but have a hard time keeping it. On this post we’re shifting to the other type of Money Mindset Archetype: those of us who manage money well, but cling to money for dear life.
I call this Money Mindset Archetype the Hustler. Hustlers are the ultimate at Money Management.
So who are the Hustlers, and what are their talents and terrors?
Hustlers generally go the conservative route with money. They tend to choose “safe” or traditional careers with steady salaries and a solid 401(k). Hustlers are the money managers, the savers, the ones who can make a little money go a LONG way. If you’re a hustler, you also bring a logical voice to money.
I’ve found that my Hustler clients are technically “good “with money in a traditional sense. Hustlers have a solid handle on their cash flow. They save before they spend. They invest in the future if their income allows it. We’re talking #allthethings that responsible money makers do.
But just like Manifestors, Hustlers have a flip-side, too. (I know both sides well, as I am a 100% Hustler!)
Sometimes we Hustlers desperately cling to money with both hands. We’re the kind that can make $10 last forever because we think we have to. We rarely splurge on anything luxurious. Then there’s wanting to keep tabs on the money at all times, whether we’re the main breadwinners or not.
The Hustlers in this world tend to relate to money through their Root Chakra.
The Root Chakra is the energy center that focuses on keeping you safe, grounded, and protected. It’s found below the navel (just below the Sacral Chakra we talked about in the last post), and is represented by the color red (see the picture below).
So how does the Root Chakra affect your relationship with money?
If you’re a Hustler with a strong Root Chakra, you smartly manage your money without stress. But those Hustlers whose Root Chakras are not in balance tend to hold on to every dime for dear life.
Here’s what is going on there…
When your Root Chakra is out of whack, you find yourself in a constant state of fear. You’re afraid of losing the money you have, and you stress about the money you don’t have. You avoid looking at your bank accounts. There’s that fear that you won’t have enough money for retirement. Maybe you even wait until you “have more money” before you do anything FUN.
So where did these root chakra imbalances come from, anyway?
Sometimes they come from your own experience. Other times you pick them up from your earliest money influencers, and they might not even be yours. (This is the case with Sacral Chakra imbalances in Manifestors, too!)
But having any kind of Chakra imbalance doesn’t mean you’re broken or flawed. Only that you’re human!
So if you’re a Hustler, your Root Chakra is a significant indicator of your money relationship. And like Manifestors and Sacral Chakras, Root Chakra imbalances need just a few tweaks to get back to balance.
Now, which archetype do you relate to the most? Some of us are strong Manifestors or Hustlers, others have a little bit of both. Your strengths and weaknesses around money will help you figure out which one you are.
If you manifest money easily but feely guilt around it later, that’s a Manifestor thing. (Check out our post on Manifestors HERE!) Your Sacral Chakra likely needs a little love. But if you manage money well, yet cling to it for dear life, you’re more of a Hustler. A little Root Chakra balance is in order here! For a few tips to balance your Root Chakra, take a look at this helpful post.
But whether you’re a Manifestor with a wacky Sacral Chakra or a Hustler with an uprooted Root Chakra, you can restore balance. And that balance can work wonders for your business, your money, and your LIFE.
So how about you? Are you a Manifestor or a Hustler at heart? Leave me a comment and let me know!
Until Next Time,
Love, Light, and MONEY, Honey…
