Business Networking

In our Startup Tip #1, How To Start A New Business, we talked about getting the word out about your new business idea in a simplified yet, organized manner. So naturally, in this next tip, we are going to talk about WHERE we can begin to find some paying clients. This brings us to Startup Tip #2. And YES, we’re talking here about business networking.

Now that you’re armed with a few solid testimonials and case studies, you can take your new business “to the streets.” That, of course, means getting what you do front of the right people. So where do you start?

To do this, you’ll need to start researching online and/or offline groups that are filled with your ideal clients. That means getting out there and working on business networking while keeping your eye out for your ideal clients.

So, what is an ideal client?

An IDEAL client is basically someone who needs to or wants to hire someone for something they cannot do, or not willing to do.

Begin by researching online and offline groups that you can start networking with.

Build your netWORK to build your netWORTH! Because that’s what business networking is all about.

My favorite go-to business networking places are:

These you can easily find in your local area, but you should also Google search small business/start up networking groups specific to your needs.

Remember, the key to a successful business is relationships. And the best way to build relationships–both ideal clients and with potential collaborators and colleagues–is simply to start that business netorking!

Next tip we will talk about how to best prepare for one of these networking events to CLOSE Paying Clients.

Comment below your favorite areas to network, both online and IRL!

Until next time,
